Three kinds of exposure usually matter.

Magnetic fields come from current in wiring, panels, and some appliances. They fall off with distance, and they are hard to shield. The useful question is whether a bed or a chair sits in an elevated field, and why.

Electric fields come from voltage on wiring and cords, even when a lamp is switched off, if the circuit is still live. They are often highest near walls and lamps that are not grounded. Distance, and sometimes how a circuit is switched, changes them.

Radiofrequency comes from things that transmit. Wifi, phones, cordless bases, some meters, a neighbor, a tower. It changes from minute to minute. A useful survey watches long enough to see what is steady and what is only a burst.

You leave with the rooms and sources that actually matter, placed in an order. First the changes that are simple. Then the ones that need an electrician, or a more deliberate remediation plan. Shielding is not the opening move. It is considered when a source cannot be moved and a place cannot be left, and only after the meter says it will help.
